How do we get large items picked up?

Large item pick up is typically the last Thursday of the month, with November and December varying due to holidays. Tags need to be purchased at the Village Office by 3:00 pm the Wednesday before pick up. Call 419-678-4881 with any questions or for prices.

Please note we will not pick up freezers or refrigerators. Please contact Johnson Mechanical at 419-678-8102.

When is Community Clean-Up?

How do we rent a shelter house or the depot?

Call the Village office, 419-678-4881, to check availability and to rent any shelter houses. Call Mary Lee Thomas, 419-678-3259, for depot availability and rental.

When is limb and brush pick up?

Limb and brush pick up is the third Monday of the month. The following dates are scheduled for 2026: April 20th, May 18th, June 22nd, July 20th, August 17th, September 21st and October 19th. Please have all limbs out by 7:00 am the day of pick up. Bushes will only be picked up if the root ball has been removed.

Village Aggregation Program?

Dynegy Energy will be the new supplier for the Village of Coldwater’s electric aggregation program as of 1/1/2026.  The contract expires in May of 2028 and has a rate of $0.0908/kWh.  If you are a current member of the aggregation program, you DO NOT need to do anything to stay in the program.  If you would like to join the program, you may opt in by calling Dynegy Energy at 833-241-4599 or visit www.dyengy.com.

The gas aggregation contract with Constellation expired in December 2025.  Any resident that was in the program will automatically be switched to Enbridge’s standard choice offer.
